Seesaw
Students and families, we will be using Seesaw for home learning. Please contact me by Remind so that I can send you a Home Learning Code. Then you can sign in with your Home Learning code following the steps below:
1. Go to https://web.seesaw.me on a computer. Or install the Seesaw Class iOS or Android app.
2. Tap “I’m a Student”.
3. Type in your Home Learning code.
4. Post to your journal, respond to activities, and view class announcements.

Education Galaxy: There are two assignments for Math and two for Reading. Afterwards, students can do any other lessons. They know how to find everything. Games are included in this program and they enjoy trying to earn stars to change their alien ranking.

XtraMath: This is a quick fact fluency practice. They need to do this daily. I will need to send you a code for your child. Contact me by Remind so that I can send it to you.

Epic!: Students can listen or read stories on this site. Afterwards, have them take AR quizzes. They love to watch videos but they can't take AR quizzes on them. Their AR goal is 100.

Guidance with Mrs.Rich

While we care deeply about the academic growth of our students, their social and emotional learning is just as important. Throughout the year, Mrs. Rich, elementary guidance counselor, has done guidance lessons with our students each week. She is missing those opportunities that she has to meet with your kids, especially during this time when emotions can be all over the place. She created and added guidance lesson videos to her webpage. Please allow your student to watch her videos. For our younger Rebels, there are even guest appearances from Puppy and Snail!

A private check in form is also on her page if your student wants to reach out to her with specific concerns or questions.

If you have any questions about anything, please do not hesitate to ask through Remind.
I will be available Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm-7:00pm. I will respond if I am able to during other times of the day but for sure during this time. Please know that I am here if you need me! Have a great week and hope to see your sweet second grader soon! I am missing them already!!! Stay Healthy, Mrs. Terry

Welcome to Second Grade!
My name is Esther Terry and I will be your child's teacher.

A Little About Me
I was born and raised in Harlingen, Texas. When I graduated from Harlingen High School, I attended Baylor University where I received a degree in elementary education. I have been teaching for 17 years and I love it! I have been married for 18 years and have five kids from ages 3-15 years. There is never a dull moment at our home.
