At Home Instruction/Assignments
- Go to Youtube and type in “Anne Frank: The Whole Story, Part 1”. Watch this all the way through (1 hour and 36 minutes long). This is one of the movie versions and it’s the one I like the best.
- Go to Youtube and type in “Anne Frank: The Whole Story, Part 2”. Watch this all the way through (1 hour and 33 minutes long). This is one whole movie divided into two parts.
- Type up or write (as long as writing is legible) a ¾ to one page summary of your thoughts on the movie versus the book of Anne Frank. Some questions to ponder are: 1. Was there anything different in the movie that surprised you that wasn’t in the book? 2. Which method helped you to understand the content and reality of the situation better? 3. Which was your favorite? 4. How will reading this book and watching the movie benefit you in your future? You can include any thoughts, not just what is listed here. If there are students who are not able to go onto Youtube to watch the movies, then they can still write this paper based on the reading of the book. They will just focus their thoughts from reading the book and how it will impact their future. This is a great movie and it really puts everything into reality, if they are able to watch it.
**Daily readings will be posted Monday through Wednesday this week. This next section in the book is shorter than the last one and will only take us three days to read through. There are two worksheets that go with this weeks readings, which have been uploaded to Google Classroom and are also with this weeks packets to be picked up on Tuesday. Please remind students that I do a Live chat with each class on Fridays to go over assignments. This has greatly helped for those who have joined.
